Hi everyone, how are you today?
I don’t often wear pink lipstick; even though I have several in my collection! I much prefer a good red or a neutral. However, today I fancied wearing a lovely pink liquid lippie.
This look was very experimental. I wanted to play with some of the more colourful shades in the Natural Lust Palette, and a brighter lip seemed a nice team-up. I actually love how this look turned out, and I wanted to share how I got it.
I am still loving my Clinique Even Better Glow and Collection Lasting Perfection combo. They give such a lovely dewy finish and don’t leave a cakey finish to my skin. In. Love! Another favourite for bronzing up my skin in the Benefit Hoola Caramel bronzer; with a light hand, this looks gorgeous. For blush, I reached for my Younique Mineral Pressed Blush in Seductive. I haven’t used this for a while, but I still love the finish, especially now that we’re into the cooler months and I can wear a more flushed shade on my cheeks. To highlight, I used a light dusting of Model’s Own’s Golden Sand highlighting powder.
At the moment, I have been filling in my eyebrows before touching my lids with any shadow. This helps me find the shape for my eyeshadow application better. For brows, I am loving the Eylure x Fleur de Force Brow Pencil and Revolution Pro Brow Mascara. If you want a dupe for the Benefit Gimme brow, that brow mascara is your best bet! I also prepped my eyes with a light layer of Smashbox’s Eye Primer.
For the eyeshadow, I used the Too Faced Natural Lust palette. I set the primer using a light layer of Silk Robe. In the crease I then layered up the colour using Afternoon Delight, Call me Back and Fall Hard. On the outer part of my eye I used Spank Me to create an illusion of bigger eyes. On the lids, I packed the shade Temptation using my finger, blending slightly into those crease shades. To highlight the inner corner, I used a tiny bit of Ball and Chain. On my lower lashes I mixed Call Me Back with DM Me.
To line my eyes, I used my current favourite Clinique Quickliner to smudge out the lower and upper lashline slightly. Then, finished off the lashes with a few coats of Clinique Curling Mascara.
For the lips, I mixed two of my liquid lipsticks together. The base shade was Kiss from the Models Own Liquid Lipstick collection. I then layered this with Sao Paolo from Nyx’s Soft Matte Lip Creams. These two shades mixed beautifully and I love the shade that they created.
And that was the whole look. What do you think of it? If there are any looks that you would like to see me try in the future, please let me know.
Have a lovely day guys, and take care.
