Evening Skincare Routine

Hi everyone! How are you today?

I don’t mention my skincare routine often, because it very rarely changes. Once I find something that works, I stick to it like glue! My skin does get very sensitive so I do need to watch what skincare items I pop on it. For this reason I have cut out eye creams completely from my routine. There’s some ingredient in them that really effects my right eye. I’ve never worked out what it is, but that weird dry eye thing happens with every single one!

As of late, I have become quite strict with my night-time routine. I have been using these products for about a month and I am praying that things will remain on good terms with my sensitive skin.

The first thing that I do, is remove whatever traces of my makeup that are left on my skin. At the moment, I do have quite a good long-lasting makeup routine, so there is a lot to remove! Currently, I am using the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water. It is amazing at removing all of my makeup, including stubborn mascara, and my face always feels squeaky clean.

Next I use a lip scrub to remove any dry skin from my lips. I don’t like using these during the day just in case they leave little bits of sugar in my lipsticks. I love the Coconut scrub from ELF; it smells and tastes amazing.

I then use a lash serum on my eyes. You guys know that the struggle is real for me and my lashes. I have such small and stumpy lashes. They are beginning to grow as I have become more religious with the Younique Lash Serum. Some of the girls in my Younique group do have before and after images of this. I was too lazy to snap the pictures. But this does work. I just need to use it more often. I have noticed a massive difference in the last month of using this every night.

Next up, I get some moisture back into my skin using two products. The first is a serum. I am currently using the Revolution Skincare CBD Oil. This is way too thick to use during the day, but it really works itself into the skin when used as part of my night routine. Due to how thick it is, I do apply it with a cotton pad, and it spreads really well across my face and down my neck. I then use a moisturiser. I currently go between two; the Body Shop Hemp Face Protector or the Revolution Skincare Hydration Boost. Both are lovely and really help reduce the dry patches on my skin.

Finally I finish things off with a touch of lip balm. I am loving the Nivea Lip balms at the moment. I think this on is a raspberry flavoured one. It’s really lovely.

And that is my entire routine. What products do you use on an evening?

Have a lovely day guys, and take care.
