Hi everyone, how are you today?
I bet, if we’re all honest with ourselves, we all have a few products in our collection that are collecting a bit of dust. I’m very guilty of this; I have a box of products under my bed full of stuff I don’t use anymore. It’s there to give to family and friends when they pop over if there is anything that they like.
In the above look, I tried to show some love to four products that haven’t seen much love lately.
Clinique Quickliner for Eyes
I went through a phase a fair while ago where I tight-lined my lower lash line all the time. Then I stopped…. and I have no idea why. I saw this eyeliner in my drawer the other day and decided to pop it in my everyday makeup caddy. This still applies fluidly and really helped my lower lash line look a lot more voluminous. This one is almost near the bottom of the tube, so I will be buying a new one once this one runs out; I might actually try a new shade!
Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Volume 1 Palette
Okay, technically this one is a cheat! I did repurchase this again last month after realising my original one wasn’t performing the same anymore. However, I used to love this palette when it first launched. It is gorgeous! The mattes are really blendable and the shimmers look amazing. I used this today, with just a few shades from Volume 2, and the effect was the gorgeous smoky green look shown above.
Benefit Bad Gal Mascara
In my review of the Blue mascara, I mentioned that I wasn’t a big fan of the black mascara; the formula being really wet and claggy. However, age has really worked in this mascaras favour. It applies really well now and adds a lot of length to my skimpy lashes without transferring onto my upper lid. This one has now been added to my everyday makeup caddy.
L’Oreal Rouge Signature Liquid Lipstick-
I Am Worth It
I used to use these all the time before my Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick obsession took over. The formula of the L’Oreal Lipsticks is really thin, and after a while, you forget that they’re there. This one did apply a little patchy at first, however it builds up fine and two to three coats is enough to give the gorgeous opaque red colour that I got.
Which products are you going to show a bit more love to this month?
Have a lovely day, and take care!
