Current Beauty Favourites

Hi everyone! How are you?

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything, and I’m sorry about that. Work has been busy, and I’ve become a little obsessed with tik tok lately. Oops!

Today I wanted to share with you some of my current favourites from the past few months. I’ve pretty much been using the same things recently, apart from the odd change in lip and eye products. However, these few items have remained constant in my routine.

Benefit Cheek Leaders Pink Squad

I’ve owned the Bronze Squad palette for a long time now, and I’ve wanted to get my hands on the Pink Squad for ages. Well last month, I finally got hold of one, and it is beautiful. I have been using a mixture of Dallas and Hoola for my bronzer, and I love the highlighter, Tickle. With the masks at work, the only part people have been able to see of me is my cheek bones and my eyes. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments when I use this highlighter. It’s such a pretty pink shimmer. I absolutely love it!

Max Factor Miracle Prep 3 in 1 Protect Primer

I am in love with this primer! I have much preferred a dewier finish to my skin lately and this really helps. It feels so hydrating and it leaves a nice tacky finish to the skin, which has helped my foundation last longer. It does have SPF30 in it, which has helped my skin in the sun over the hot freak weather we had a few weeks ago. It’s just such a lovely primer and I will be purchasing it again once my other primers run out.

Younique Lucrative Lip Gloss: Lippy

I have been wearing lip gloss a lot more recently. I’m not sure if it’s the constant mask wearing that is drying my lips out, but I’m really struggling to wear liquid lipsticks recently. So I’ve been reaching for nude lipglosses. I saw this in my box quite recently, and thought about giving it a go again. It’s a gorgeous your lips but better colour and it really helps plump up and hydrate my lips more.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer/ Flower Beauty Light Illusion Full Coverage Concealer

I’m teaming these together because I use them for the same purpose. I use them to brighten up under my eyes and to add a bit extra coverage on my nose and chin. They are definite dupes of each other. Both are super creamy and blend out like a dream. They are also light weight but you get decent coverage from them both.

Revolution Maxi Reloaded Palette: Large it Up

I’ve gone through a bit of a neutrals phase again. I saw a few people using these palettes on a makeup group on Facebook, and it tempted me to buy three of them. Large it Up is probably my favourite. You get a good selction of both warm and cool tones in both matte and shimmery finishes. It’s a great starter palette if you want to build up a collection of neutral tones. The shades blend out like a dream too. I love the deep bronze shade in the third row. I only wish that the shades had names, but I love how thin and compact the palette actually is. It would be great for travelling (when we can actually do that again)!

Maybelline Dream Radiant Liquid Foundation

I used to use Maybelline foundations when I was in my early twenties (can anyone remember Dream Matte Mousse?). This gives a gorgeous glowy finish, which doesn’t compromise on coverage. It lasts a fair while on the skin and my other products apply beautifully over the top. It’s definitely sold me on trying more drugstore foundations in the future.

Younique 4D Epic Mascara

It’s back. I wanted to give this another go since it’s been a fair while since I’ve used any of the Younique mascaras. It does add some length to my lashes, and I do have tiny little lashes! It is a super black formula, so it helps my lashes stand out when I want to wear darker colours on my eyes. I still hate falsies! Mascara will always be my best friend, and it’s good to have one that I can rely on when I need the extra oomph!

L’Oreal Paradise Primer

I use this with any mascara. As I explained in the previous section, I have tiny lashes, and I like to give them as much help as I can! This primer helps add extra length but it also helps the darker mascara stand out even more. It’s amazing when I use the blue mascara!

And those are all of my recent favourites. What products have you been reaching for recently?

Have a lovely day everyone, and stay safe.
